Melaleuca is a spacious, purpose built, owner operated backpacker’s hostel, located five minutes walk from the sparkling waters of One Mile Beach in Port Stephens. With views to the stars, stay in one of their cabins or camp out with the wildlife. They offer guests a tranquil retreat in a bushland setting with accommodation ranging from cabins, dormitory rooms, camping and Kombi van sites. In the summer months tent hire is also available. Linen is supplied on all beds and all rooms contain a fridge, heater and fan. The magnificent architecturally designed, main building houses double kitchens, with all crockery and cutlery, a lounge area with television and DVD, tables and chairs and free barbecues are on the deck areas outside. The showers are free to use and have hot water and a laundry is available for guests.
