Council Lifeguard Services are provided Monday to Saturday during the swimming season and Easter Holiday periods. Volunteer members of Stockton Surf Lifesaving Club provide beach patrols on Sundays during the swimming season.
Stockton Beach has picnic shelters, barbecues in the park adjacent to the beach, a beach kiosk operating next to the main car park, change room facilities, plenty of parking, and relatively sheltered waters suitable for family swimming and learning to surf.
